Welcome to Read St. Alliance

A Place for Everyone

Our Mission

“Welcome to Read Street Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening community connections and supporting local businesses in the Read Street neighborhood. We host a wide range of classes on skills vital to our vibrant local industries, including bartending, DJing, music production, baking, retail, and jewelry making. Through hands-on learning, we empower residents to explore new trades and build practical skills.

Our commitment to community extends beyond education. We organize regular neighborhood cleanups, monthly block parties, and safety interventions to foster a clean, safe, and lively environment where neighbors can come together, celebrate, and support one another. Read Street Alliance is where community, creativity, and collaboration thrive.”
